Job Description

Lubrizol, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a market-driven global company that combines complex, specialty chemicals to optimize the quality, performance and value of customers' products while reducing their environmental impact. Lubrizol produces and supplies technologies to customers in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets. Job Mission

maintains and expands relationships with CPI strategically important customers and is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned Corporate account objectives

Corporate Account Executive represents a wide range of CPI products and services to assigned customers while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are met.

Corporate Account Executive is responsible for leads generation and business development with potential strategic customers.

Corporate Account Executive is responsible for providing the highest level of service to customers.

Key Job Accountabilities

Owns the global corporate account plan document maintenance and coordinate its execution with account managers in other geographies Establishes productive, professional relationships with key Personnel and functions in assigned customer accounts.

Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations.

Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel

Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts

Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.

Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Performance Measures

Achieves assigned sales targets in designated accounts Meets assigned expectations for profitability

Achieves short and long term strategic customer objectives defined by company management

Completes account plans that meet company standards Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in a business or technical field 10+ years of commercial experience with at least 5+ years in a solution-sales or account management role.

Solution sales experience within the specialty chemicals, refrigeration, or compressors (i.e. lubricants or additives) industry is preferred Track record of achieving consistent sales growth.

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Exceptional interpersonal abilities and a strong winning drive for growth and sales success Willing and able to travel up to 40% (US travel)

Considered a Plus: UPWARD POTENTIAL interested in and capable of becoming a sales / commercial leader.

Knowledge of the chemical or refrigeration industry MBA or post-graduate degree

  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
