Job Description


Zinpro Corporation, the feed industry leader in the manufacturing, research, and marketing of Performance Minerals*, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Global Marketing Manager - Swine. 

The Global Marketing Manager is responsible to drive business growth and lead global marketing initiatives for Zinpro products and solutions. In this highly critical and visible role, you will be accountable for end-to-end innovative marketing and successful strategic development through execution. This includes strategic planning, business plan development, market analysis, competitive strategies, messaging and content creation for products, solutions and services.

In your leadership position, you will have the ability to directly impact the global marketing strategy, develop value proposition messaging and define compelling differentiation that sets Zinpro apart from the competition. You’ll shift seamlessly from marketing strategy to execution, thrive while working in a fast-paced environment and successfully partner with regional marketing, commercialization, sales and research teams across the global organization to deliver on business goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership presence, team leadership and a proven track record in developing business strategies in the agricultural industry, particularly species-specific experience for the role. This position reports to the Director of Global Marketing and Commercialization. 

Key Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager will partner closely with Director of Global Marketing and the Global Species teams to build and execute innovative go-to-market plans that align to Zinpro’s business objectives and goals. 

  • Design, implement and manage key marketing initiatives that are effective and align with Zinpro’s business strategies. You’ll build global marketing campaigns and communications that drive brand awareness, thought leadership and business results in partnership with global, cross functional teams.
  • Analyze competitive marketing strategies and tactics for priority species segments to develop a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape and partner with global species teams to develop strategies to clearly differentiate Zinpro.
  • Help shape the overarching Zinpro global marketing strategy, culture and future direction, by serving as a member of the Marketing Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate across regional business enterprises to adapt the marketing strategy to meet local, species-specific market needs and to ensure strategies are relevant.
  • Oversee and evaluate market and customer research to adjust marketing strategy to meet changing competitive conditions and gain deep understanding of critical business insights.
  • Partner with Zinpro’s external agencies and internal corporate brand, digital and regional marketing teams to deliver effective marketing communication plans and strategies.
  • Drive message development of global strategic conferences and customer events by partnering with regional teams and internal groups.
  • Lead content strategy and key messaging for targeted species segments that tie to company vision, brand positioning, competitive advantages, including the company websites, blog, email campaigns and social media.

  • Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in marketing management, preferably in a global matrixed organization.
  • Experience and knowledge in agricultural marketing with a swine species specialty.
  • Familiar with variety of global marketing and animal nutrition concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Proven track record of success in delivering results, leading and working with global and cross functionals teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
  • Strong leadership, planning, project management and execution skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, developing business cases and ROI models.
  • Proven adaptability with a high sense of urgency and comfort working with ambiguity; fast learner who identifies and gains knowledge necessary to be successful.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
  • An independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
  • Proven ability to lead, facilitate, influence and organize across groups at multiple levels of an organization.
  • Proven experience developing and cultivating strong working relationships and credibility with global stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking ability; independently and proactively identify problems, propose solutions and execute.
  • Preferred proficiency to include: Salesforce.com, MS Office and campaign management systems.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, animal science or related field from an accredited university (Masters preferred). Relevant agriculture-related experience with swine species specialty is preferred.


    30% - Ability to travel for global meetings, customer visits and internal meetings are required and expected for this position.
