About Global Product Manager

What does a Global Product Manager do?

As global product managers, we are responsible for ensuring the success of our assigned product(s) in global markets. We have a deep understanding of the global market and competition landscape for our assigned product. We liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify market openings, and develop a strategy to capitalize on them. We collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to implement area-specific strategic plans. We also play our part in defining the product roadmap and developing business cases to support development projects.

Core tasks:

  • understanding global market and customer needs, user experiences
  • identifying profitable opportunities, managing value proposition/differentiation
  • setting a product vision and strategy for global markets
  • ownership of product portfolio and roadmap
  • managing global product positioning and marketing strategy
  • full product lifecycle management, adjustments to market demands
