Grantham University based in Lenexa, Kansas is a for-profit university. It was founded in 1951 as Grantham Radio Licensing School in Los-Angeles. It currently comprises four colleges that offer online degree programs in science, engineering, technology, humanities and social sciences, nursing, and health professions. Since 1961, The University has been accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission. Grantham University believes in the value of giving back. The university strives to maintain its values through a combination of sponsorships, volunteerism, donation drives, and a special employee-funded, university-matched community grant program, offered twice a year to like-minded non-profit organizations dedicated to serving the community.
