As Grants Specialists, we are responsible for coordinating the full range of activities required to prepare, submit and manage grant proposals. We research grant opportunities that match the goals and objectives of the chapter or region in compliance with given policies to adhere to. We also gather information and coordinate many grant proposals to the government, corresponding corporations, and foundation funds. Additionally, we develop and maintain effective, long-term relationships with grantors to facilitate approvals of grants. Finally, we follow up with grantors to monitor grant status to identify, pursue, cultivate, and enhance relationships with foundations and government agencies in support of funding needs.
