What does a Groundskeeper do?

We, groundkeepers, are in charge of maintaining the landscape of a business or other authorities. Our primary job duties include cutting lawns, removing weeds, trimming shrubs, implanting new greenery, and eradicating unwanted trees. Our additional tasks include making sure that walkways stay clear for walking. Our responsibilities include maintaining the grounds of institutions. We have to work for schools, universities, resorts, and public parks. We have to take care of lands and grounds and employ insecticides, chemical sprays, fertilizers, and protections to enhance the condition of greenery.

  • maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, fields, and irrigation
  • fertilizing lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and spreading organic matter
