H-E-B was established on November 26, 1905 in Kerrville, Texas, United States. H-E-B has more than 340 stores throughout the US state of Texas, as well as in Northeast Mexico. H-E-B ranked 12 th on Forbes 2019 list of "America's Largest Private Companies". H-E-B ranks 13 th on the list of Top 75 " North American Food Retailers" by Sales according to the Supermarket News. H-E-B consists of almost 100,000 employees and had a revenue collection of 21 billion in 2018.H-E-B also operates Central Market which is an upscale organic and fine food retailer. Giving Back to the community is the way of saying thanks at H-E-B. H-E-B is the 20th supreme retailer in the United States. The company donates five percent of pretax earnings to causes which includes education and food banks in the areas in which it works.
