About Habilitation Specialist

What does a Habilitation Specialist do?

As habilitation specialists, we help and provide support to disabled clients. We help disabled clients to be able to live their lives and to perform their daily tasks independently. In addition to these tasks, we design effective rehabilitation programs. We hire and train the staff, and conduct client valuation to create personalized treatment plans. We monitor the behavior of the clients and respond to it appropriately. Sometimes, we help the disabled clients by giving them bath, and preparing food.

Core tasks:

  • teaching the basic life skills to the clients
  • keeping the clients engaged in different activities
  • ensuring that the clients are safe, clean, and healthy
