Hancock Whitney has evolved with and because of the people and locations of the Gulf South for 100-plus years. Similar history, geography and principles were exchanged by the two original banks, Hancock Bank and Whitney Bank. The next logical step in the partnership was to integrate. Hancock Bank and Whitney Bank joined together in December 2010, forming an even larger entity located in the Gulf South and committed to regional growth. It changed its name formally to Hancock Whitney in 2018. The aim is to help individuals achieve their financial targets and dreams. Its purpose is to build possibilities for people and the communities we represent.
