Harvard Business School (HBS) is the graduate business school of Harvard University which was established in 1908 located in Boston, Massachusetts. It is ranked consistently among the supreme business schools in the world and grants a large full-time MBA program, management-related doctoral programs, and several executive education programs. The School governs Harvard Business Publishing which publishes business books, leadership articles, case studies, and the monthly Harvard Business Review. Earlier, it was established by the humanities faculty and received independent status in 1910 and became a separate administrative unit in 1913. HBS instigated the development of the case method of teaching and drawing inspiration from this approach to legal education at Harvard. The students of HBS can join more than 80 different clubs and student organizations on campus and its student body is denoted by the Harvard Graduate Council at the university level.
