About the Company
Inter-Island Airways Ltd. was the name given to Hawaiian Airlines when it was founded on January 30, 1929. Thousands of people gathered in Honolulu that year to see Hawaii's first scheduled inter-island flights to Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii take off. Two eight-passenger Sikorsky S-38 amphibious planes made up the fleet. Over 7,000 Hawaiian Airlines workers serve clients and the community with a passion for air travel, a commitment to world-class service, and a distinct desire to introduce true Hawaiian hospitality to the rest of the globe. Hawaiian Airlines, the largest and longest-serving airline in Hawaii, is looking for extraordinary people to join its team. People who have worked before. People who have a lot of ambition. Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action are values that Hawaiian Airlines uphold. Without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status, the company provides equal employment opportunities.
