About Health Center Manager

What does a Health Center Manager do?

As Health Center Managers, we are responsible for the day-to-day management of all health center activities. We lead health center efforts. We help to achieve the health center to meet or exceed productivity. We track financial performance, patient visits, and customer service goals. We supervise center management staff. We are responsible for assessing training needs. We evaluate staff performance and plans of correction. We ensure adequate staff is cross-trained in all health center duties. We hold all clinical staff accountable to specific measurable customer service standards. We are responsible for regular coaching and mentoring for continued staff growth and development. we complete non-medical audits.

Core tasks:

  • remain current on all FDA approved contraception
  • partner with Licensed Staff leadership in operational leadership decisions
  • ensure the provision of high-quality patient care
  • maintain efficient patient care flow
  • plan and implement patient and staff scheduling
  • assure regular communication with Response Center
  • review and monitor health center budget
