Health Information Associates (HIA) is a privately held company based in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, that was founded in 1992 by Betsy Bailey, RHIA, and Deane Beamer, MHA. Mrs. Bailey worked as the Director of HIM at two (2) hospitals in Virginia prior to 1992. Mr. Beamer had worked as an administrator in a variety of hospitals around the southeast for over thirty (30) years. HIA has worked with hundreds of hospitals around the country to provide personalized systematic coding compliance assessments, educational programs and coding support since its inception. Due to its ability to adapt to market changes while retaining a clear and conservative approach, HIA has proved itself best organization. HIA is hiring provider coding specialists, review consultant, provider consultant and many more with benefits of medical and dental insurance.
