About Heavy Equipment Operator

What does a Heavy Equipment Operator do?

As Operating Engineers, our main responsibility is to perform preventative tasks. We analyze the data to ensure its efficient functionality and productivity. We monitor the operations that are being executed in the heat and electrical systems. We work as a part of the operating engineer team and provide guidance and support in the work of other engineers. Functioning as Operating Engineers, we are accountable for ensuring that the operations are in accordance with the company's policies and legal regulations. We participate in the execution of safety processes and initiatives. We respond to the issues and provide corrective actions to establish the good performance of existing operating procedures.

Core tasks:

  • conducting plant visits
  • recording the data of gauges and meters
  • identifying the areas of improvement
  • ensuring the good quality of operation systems
  • performing other duties as assigned by the company
