As HEDIS Review Nurses, our primary tasks include reviewing medical records to collect specific data required for the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures. We ensure the accuracy and completeness of this information to help improve the quality of care provided by healthcare organizations. Our duties involve communicating with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and validate data. We use electronic health records (EHRs) and other data-management tools to efficiently gather and track medical information. We play a critical role in contributing to the overall health outcomes and performance reporting of health plans.
