Helix will provide you a descent wage and benefits but expect nothing above and beyond that. Disrespect from middle and upper Management is a thing with this Company. I have worked for them 4 separate times with them over 12 years which each example always ending with being laid off. And none of those reasons having to do with the Economy, lack of work, etc. Like most construction jobs their foreman's head gets big and they like to be the big man and kick around Journeyman and Apprentice's while the Sups turn their head. Like most Company's, they demand Loyalty but will throw you under the bus asap when they don't receive it. Sure, get hired with Helix but don't expect to work long because they insist on a high turn over rate to take back what they "give you" i.e.: 401 k contributions, etc.

Pros and Cons
Guaranteed pay check
Guaranteed Lay offs, guaranteed disrespect,
