Since 1955, the Helping Hand Center has served over 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities in suburban Cook County and the greater Chicagoland area. Outpatient therapies, early intervention, a school for children with autism, high school transition, nursing homes, job services, adult day services, and afterhours are all available at Helping Hand Center. Helping Hand Center's goal is to change the lives of all those who are linked to the organization through sincere treatment and education. Adult day programs, residential housing, a school for autistic children, an outpatient clinic, employment services, high school transition services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language pathology, music therapy, and special recreation are the services which the Helping Hand Center is providing.
