The Highland Park Independent School District opened up its doors to the public first in a four-room building on Cornell Avenue in October 1914. Since then, it has developed into one of the most important school districts in the country and now consists of eight campuses: five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. The school has nearly 7,000 students and employs more than 800 employees, including more than 460 teachers, of which 63% have master degrees. They always work hard to instill the best in all their graduates. Highland Park ISD is located in Highland Park, a 6.21 square mile north of downtown Dallas, University Park and a small suburb of North Dallas, serving more than 33,000 residents, mainly college-educated professionals and business leaders in the Dallas community . There is also a proud tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, sports and community service there. The Highland Park Independent School District further provides employees with a variety of benefits, such as advanced insurance options, flexible work plans, paid leave, continuing education reimbursement and professional certificate reimbursement.
