On June 2, 1920, Hillcrest Baptist Church was organized with 10 members. Up until September 1920, the Rev. Van Dyke Todd served as supply pastor. The Hillcrest Vision Frame's first component is the mission. The mission is the church's driving compass. It gives us direction and in that direction points everyone. Its mission to love and serve God and to love and serve others. Its mission statement may sound easy, but to us, it directs all do and flows from the mission of Jesus himself, as outlined in Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:19-20 in the Great Commandment.
