Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a 501(c)(3) federally funded non-profit organization that creates and donates nationally specially adapted custom homes for post-9/11 veterans seriously injured to enable them to restore their lives. Most of these veterans have suffered injuries, including multiple amputations of their limbs, partial or total paralysis, and/or significant traumatic brain injury (TBI). Nearly 90 cents out of every dollar invested has gone directly to the Veterans Program programs since its inception in 2004. HFOT builds these homes where the veteran wishes to live, and after home delivery, continues its partnership with the veterans to help them restore their lives. Homes For Our Troops hires experts of diverse fields. It also gives multiple advantages to its team-members such as workplace perks, 401k retirement plan and HSAs and FSAs.
