I started working at Honeywell as an administrative assistant. By year three I had advance to facility coordinator. I worked as a coroner until 2013 when the facilities department was transferred over to JLL. Not much changed except for my title. As the coordinator, I was also an acting office manager, ordering supplies, setting up conference rooms, setting up meetings and services for guest, ordering catering HSE services as well, all clerical task, answering to executive staff, completing I-9 registrations, setting up new hires in both the system, as well as on paper. I also managed the vendors and the own site janitorial staff.

Pros and Cons
Friendly office setting, activities, which boost, employee, morale, opportunities for growth
Change management removed many positive things about the company

My first job that I made a career out of. It was at times hard, enjoyable, stressful, and educational. I was able to get an education (BSBM). I was able to continually advance in my job. I attain several cortication in my 40 years(FAA Repairman Cert., ISO 9000 Auditor, Honeywell internal auditor, IPC 7711/7722 Trainer, and Honeywell Trainer).I enjoyed being the focal for Customer audits and source inspections(Boeing, DOD, Lockheed Martin). I enjoyed my time as the employee club president at Honeywell Renton Service Center. It was a volunteer job that planned company events for the shop to help the moral of the shop. I was able to take business trips for the company(training and off-cite audits).

Pros and Cons
education and training
Aerospace repair business has it ups and downs.

When things are not done for there preferences they get and attitude and go against you dig and find any little problems that you’ve ever had it wasn’t done to me but to others and I don’t think that’s right when running a company. I understand that the company has needs and every company also has a book that we have to abide by.

Pros and Cons
Friendly workers I loved the type of work we did
Poor management too personal retaliation attitude don’t give you nothing but candy for free

I worked for Honeywell for 4 years after retiring from Northrop Grumman. I was fired based on HR complaints that I feel were mostly without merit. I had been rated next to the highest level and was running a $4B program. I called out a project lead for not being close to understanding her job and another for sabotage. But beyond my personal issues, Honeywell has very poor raises, expects people for work unpaid overtime for any "vacation" taken, and subjects employees to unpaid time off when the economy falters. Young engineers find it almost impossible to be promoted and are very much under compensated for their work and education level.

Pros and Cons
I can't really think of anything
Poor work environment, poor raises, lack of growth, weaponized HR

Spent 6 months there and decide to leave due to the fact there was no on boarding, no training, no clarity, just thrown out their and told to make it happen. Their process's were very slow and cumbersome, but most large companies are. They need to get a new employee up and running for success, because a person's success reflects on their direct mgmt.

Pros and Cons
Pay is good and HR is good.
0% on-boarding and training. Just thrown out their and told to do it.

I have been an employee of Honeywell for multiple years. Having worked at Honeywell as I am still employed proves that their are great companies out here that appreciate their employees. They give excellent opportunities and understand the ups and downs of life as well as the economy. They also provide exceptional values and leadership services to help their employees.

Management isn't there to help or work with employees, just collect a pay check.

Company starting to have a lot of turnover due to the fact that they are hiring younger people to replace the older workers by laying them off. Don't look at this as a long-term option for your career.

Honeywell is a fortune one hundred company, that means it is one of the largest top one hundred companies represented on the NYSE. It is also an international corporation which includes headquarters in at least three or, more places around the World. Honeywell is also a very diverse corporation including many branches of expertise. Aircraft, Home and building controls and, Industrial control. Honeywell has a position for just about any person from Scientist to shipper. Honeywell has many employment opportunities, from electronic chip manufacturing to designing and building the most complex machines known to industry today.

Pros and Cons
Understanding workers have personal lives and, are not just a number.
Honeywell wil take one as far as they are willing to go but, expect some dedication as well.
