Established in 1971, Hopelink is the largest non-profit organization serving the homeless, low-income families, children, seniors, and people living with a disability. It helps these people to gain the needed skills and knowledge they require to exit poverty. Its mission is to promote self-sufficiency for all the people in the community. People get lasting change throughout the organization. Values that they strongly believe in are stewardship, growth, compassion, and relationships built-in trust. Social services they provide include housing, transportation, family development, financial assistance, employment program, adult education, and food banks. More than 63000 people benefit from these services every year. It is funded by different organizations such as private foundations, United Way, government support, and donations.
