Job Description

Interim Healthcare of West Michigan is currently looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team in and around the Grand Haven area. This is a part-time opportunity.
This position will not only offer you the flexibility to create your own schedule, but to also take a more personalized 1:1 approach to patient care. Tired of working nights and weekends? No worries! As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our hospice team, you will never be expected to work after hours or on the weekend.
To be considered for this position, we do require CNA and CPR certification.

Responsibilities of our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) include:
  • Providing services as stated in each patient’s Hospice Aide care plan.
  • Assisting patients/families in safely performing activities of daily living: Providing personal care: bathing, oral care, hair care, and skincare. Assisting in ambulation, transfers and/or range of motion exercises. Taking and recording temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Promoting a safe environment and maintain an unobstructed pathway while providing care.
  • Job Requirements

  • Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • CNA certificate/licensing with the state of Michigan.
  • Active CPR certification (we do NOT accept certifications from online-only programs).
  • Hospice experience preferred.
  • CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care, Hospice Aide
