Within my first month of being hired, I got recognized for going above and beyond at my job. I waited 90 days to yo ask for a raise, since it was policy to a raise after 90 days. When I got hired on, I was one of two Hispanics. The rest were African American and white. Soon after a few African Americans began to get fired, and few quit. Throughout my time, more and more came and left. I soon found out that there was a closed discussion that management was pushing out Hca hired employees, and attempting to gain temp agency personnel so that if they’re performance wasn’t to their liking, “they would just switch out temp people.” All employees that have been pushed to quit or fired were all persons of color. Leaving it to be a workplace of caucasians. I was pushed to quit, because although I prepared my work 1-2 weeks ahead of time, I put time off from work and time off requests to deal with some unforeseen circumstances, and they didn’t care, they counted those against me.

Pros and Cons
Birthday celebrations and baby showers
Racial discrimination, profiling, bullying, sexists.

I experienced authoritarian leadership at this company. No serious focus on quality patient care or empowering direct care staff. They're a for profit company that priortizes great incomes for docs & upper management.

Pros and Cons
pay & some good nursing colleages
authoritarian leadership, no respect for direct pateint RNs, blaming culture, etc.
