About Host

What does a Host do?

As Hosts, we are tasked with greeting incoming guests as they enter the facility and putting them on a waiting list if necessary. We also provide seated guests with menus and answer any questions related to the menu and food ingredients while taking notes and notifying the chefs of any food allergies that the client might have. We assign guests to available tables that they might prefer based on the view or any other personal parameter.

Core tasks:

  • ensure that guests are happy with food and service
  • respond and document complaints as required
  • answer phone calls, and take reservations
