What does a Hostess do?

As Hostesses, we are tasked with greeting incoming guests as they enter the facility and put them on a waiting list if necessary. We also provide seated guests with menus and answering any questions related to the menu and food ingredients while taking notes and notifying the chefs of any food allergy that the client might have. We assign guests to available tables that they might prefer based on the view, close to the theater, or any other personal parameter.

Core tasks:

  • ensure that guests are happy with food and service
  • respond, and document complaints as required
  • answer phone calls, and take reservations
