The Houseperson is the backbone of the housekeeping department, this vital role makes sure that all housekeeping closets are stocked and ready and that all common and public areas are clean and in good order.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing the maintenance of all common areas - trash, linen closets, HK shed
Handles all laundry, clean and dirty to and from laundry facility
Assist housekeepers in general cleaning if needed
Clean hallways of room service trays and other items
Daily vacuuming and other regular cleaning tasks
Stocking and maintaining housekeeping closets
Keep in communication with Housekeeping Office and Front Desk
Display a positive “can do” attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism consistent with the company values
Demonstrate a team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks (even if outside specific job duties)
Complete work in a timely manner and meet productivity standards/expectations
Performs additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands:
This is a physically demanding job in all weather conditions that requires extended periods of walking, standing, bending, squatting, lifting, twisting, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, using various cleaning chemicals and lifting of up to 50lbs. 50+ lbs carry weight to be handled with additional person. Extended workdays may be required to accomplish tasks and meet workload demands during peak periods.

In the role of Houseperson, her primary responsibility is to provide hospitality services at the workplaces. We are accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of the houses that we have been appointed for. We clean the rooms and maintain a peaceful environment. We clean the entire floors of the houses by using vacuum cleaners and mopping them. Functioning as Housepersons, we are accountable for sanitizing the restrooms to ensure the provision of a germs free environment to the guests. We fulfil the needs of guests by providing them with their required facilities and solving out their queries.
