Houston Texans is an American football team based in Houston. The professional team was established in 1999 and is a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) South division and competes as such in the national football league (NFL). Janice McNair owns the team, and its home games are played in NRG Stadium, Huston, Texas. The team's colors are battle red, deep steel blue, and liberty white, and its team mascot is called Toro. The team has won six division AFC South Division Championships; in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019. As of the 2019 season, the team became the only franchise to have never appeared in a conference championship game. The team has a community outreach program that is operated by the Houston Texans Foundation that works in league with several community partners. The Houston Texans organization also provides support to the character education program known as Heart of a Champion, and in 2017, more than $380,000 was raised for the foundation at the 15th Annual Houston Texans Charity Golf Classic. Houston Texans' obtained about $530 million in 2019 in revenue.
