I worked as a case manager for HP for 3 years. I noticed that they were restructuring their business model to all Lee hire contract workers. This meant that they did not have to pay benefits directly to the worker. I also notice that they started to get rid of all the batch employees that we're getting benefits. Sure enough, they let me go without any proof of what they said I did. I gave my all to this company, and they still let me go. I was very disappointed.

Overall, I really do enjoy working at HP. I like the flexible working schedule, there is alway an opportunity to growth that if you have a four year degree.
The team i was working for is very supportive of me and they did notice that could become a firmware integrator. But since i don't have an engineering degree, I was not able to be promote an entry level firmware engineer. Which i totally understand the business point of view. However, i do feel that if the department or section see the strength with that specific employee they atleast should consider about it and give the employee the opportunity to prove themself. If it doesn't work out than no heard feeling:).
Pros and Cons
plenty of opportunity to growth, that if you have 4yr degree or a good connection or networking.
without a 4 year degree you definitely going to stuck at the same position until you get laid-off .
