Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator is the lifeline to the HR department. This person will provide administrative support all aspects of the HR function from recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, reporting, training as well as providing HR support and exceptional customer service to our most valuable resource, our employees. No two days look alike in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to employees while investigating and resolving employee questions received through walk-in traffics, phone calls or call center tickets.
Providing administrative support to all aspects of the HR function including; recruitment, onboarding, payroll, reporting, invoicing and purchase orders, employee engagement initiatives, community outreach initiatives and corporate volunteer initiatives.
Provide monthly reports to other areas of the business as requested
Sustain employee filing according to record retention policy
Coordinate and facilitate onsite and remote onboarding process and first day New Employee Orientation
Act as a resource to answer questions, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate
Support the employee and manager self-service philosophy through education and support; partner with employees to find the answer
Job Requirements:
Some post-secondary education, bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous HR Support experience preferred
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities and coordinating people
Assertive individual who can successfully drive projects to completion
Friendly and enthusiastic, professional demeanor
Demonstrated ability to work independently and ask for help when needed
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Expertise in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook); the ability to write macros, pivot tables, charts, graphics and templates is a plus
Excellent follow-up skills
Ability to successfully complete tasks in an environment of changing priorities
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking in a professional role
Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations preferred
