myDevices is a turnkey IoT solutions company. Our ready-to-sell, ready-to-install solutions provide lucrative partnerships for resellers, system integrators and OEMs all over the world. We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Human Resources Generalist to join the growing team. The ideal HR Professional will have a well-rounded HR background with an emphasis in full-cycle recruiting. They will possess sound decision making skills and is experienced in a fast-paced start-up environment. This is a part-time position, based out of our Burbank, California office with a potential to grow into a full-time position.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding employee relations, benefits, policies and procedures, escalate as appropriate to corporate HR
  • Manage full cycle recruiting:Define hiring requirementsRecruit candidatesScreen candidatesCoordinate in-person interviewsProvide management with hiring recommendationsExtend and negotiate offersOnboard new hires
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation session
  • Coordinates programs to attract qualified candidates through the design and placement of position announcements, advertising, and/or participation in job fairs
  • Conducts exit interviews with employees; communicates findings to management
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • 20-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, flexible hours
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent, two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR or PHR-CA preferred
  • Experience with ADP and ADP Reporting preferred
  • Experience in Full-cycle recruiting
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Compensation:
  • $30/hour

  • Estimated annual salary


    • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
    • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
    • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
    • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.

    • Administration and ManagementKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
    • ClericalKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
    • Customer and Personal ServiceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Personnel and Human ResourcesKnowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
