Job Description Primary Purpose The HR Services Representative II will be responsible for transactions and administration support while serving customers in a highly professional, effective and timely manner. This position will be responsible for benefits and time and attendance administration including associate inquiries, data entry and reporting. In addition, the HR Services Representative II will participate in and recommend changes to the HR processes and policies. Accountable for the effective utilization of HR case management technology to ensure consistent documentation and follow-up are achieved within agreed upon service level standards Primary Responsibilities Serves as a resource to the HR Services Team while providing training and support to the team. Checks work of other HR Services team members (creates training materials and documentation as needed). Effectively supporting and servicing the customer with the goal to exceed their expectations. Responsible for the efficient and accurate utilization of the HR case management system including the documentation of associate and management inquiries and routing of issues based upon identified tier and severity level. Based on pre-determined service level standards, meets or exceeds standard reporting elements including average call duration, average hold time, call response time and % of questions and identified issues resolved within the same day. Performs as subject matter expert in selected areas of payroll, health and welfare benefits and other administrative requirements of human resources. Manages and responds to incoming calls from internal associates and managers with responsibility for advising and answering questions related to payroll, healthcare benefits and other human resources related services. Accountable for the administration of time and attendance system and non-exempt time imports including PTO maintenance. Responsible to process special pay and re-code uploads. Monitors status of manager time and attendance approvals to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of associate payroll. In partnership with the Associate Relations Managers, ensures the timely administration and process compliance of associate termination requirements including HRIS input, benefits termination and systems access. Ensures the timely response and administration and follow-up on associate garnishments including verification, data entry and check mailing. Functions as a tier II support for benefit related inquiries and assists the benefits department in process improvement and overall administration. Creates new processes as required to implement changes in impacting area (specifically in areas of payroll and benefits administration). Participates in the weekly and semi-monthly payroll processes, which includes running reports, entering data, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with the authorization matrix. Responsible to continuously improve overall process efficiency and accuracy. Understands Essendant ??s Guiding Actions. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
