Management dose or doesn't do things that cost the company thousands of dollers a day. For example dose not fix coolers so there isn't cold drinks or perishable food available for customers, certain items (mostly books) that should apply sales tax do not for several months before corrected, have self checkout stations that don't make a clear indecation when an item or entire payment wasn't excepted reulting in customers unintentionally not paying for some or all of a transaction. Also you are not rewarded for doing a good job, and not punished for doing a poor job.

The company has a culture of keeping favorites and there is a slim chance of growth. There is no help or guidance from leads they want to crush you and let you go. The salary is based on who they like and dislike. Find a better company. They have no regard for someone with 20 years of experience either, they fire people in an instant.

There are some good workers here. You have workers that actually come to work to do thier job then you have lazy people that make you do everything
