State: Colorado Springs PSC

Reports to: Human Resources Director

Status: Exempt

Serving the needs of the Medicaid population requires a well-oiled machine. Our fast-paced, high volume offices require smart scheduling, effective patient communications, tested processes and a dedicated, well-trained staff. The Hero Practice Services team knows what it takes to provide quality dental, vision and orthodontic care under one roof. MISSION OF THE ROLE

The HR Business Partners mission is serve as a consultant to our operational partners on their human resource related issues, all while acting as an adviser and advocate for the needs of our teammates.

Understands, monitors, and ensures the smooth execution of HR processes by (1) thoroughly covering areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, customer service and health and safety practices in training sessions, (2) efficiently drafting an employee handbook and other policy manuals, (3) resolving complex employee relation issues and conducting effective and objective investigations, (4) implementing a performance evaluation process that is valuable and sustainable for all employees, (5) conducting meetings with respective business units and follow-ups to ensure training objectives are met and (6) ensuring a high degree of confidentiality and security of employee documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* A bachelors degree in human resources, business or a related field.

* Two years of experience working in human resources.

* Proficient at using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

TRAVEL:

Approximately 40% of the time.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Full-time, non-exempt position. Competitive salary and benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally 50.

TASKS

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
