Job Description

Our team is currently looking to fill the position of Human Resources Manager with an energetic and dynamic person who is looking to be a part of a growing company that has a culture transformation underway! This opening provides the opportunity for someone to really make a difference and establish process improvments.

We are an established locally owned residential multi-family property management developer, owner & manager. Our Mission: Provinding Housing. Building Communities,. Enhancing Lives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Partner with other department heads to accomplish company goals and objectives
* Mentor HR Coordinator
* Full Cycle Recruiting
* Onboard new Associates
* Oversee Benefits Program
* Administer Workers Compensation Program
* Maintain and audit associate files so that they remain compliant
* Back-up to Payroll processing

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

* At least five years of progressive HR experience
* Experience with a variety of HR functions (ex. Benefits, payroll, recruiting)
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining service orientation

  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.

  • Personnel and Human ResourcesKnowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
