Huntington Beach Union High School District is a public school district serving portions of the Orange County cities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and Westminister. It offers programs to students in grades 9-12 and it is situated in 11 sites overseas. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and College and has grown approximately 16,000 employees in a number. Dr. Clint Harwick is its superintendent since January 2017. The institute believes in excellence in the academic programs. They offer a series of academic programs with an aim to enhance student success and include Model United Nations (MUN), Academy for the Performing Arts (APA), International Baccalaureate (IB), Math Educational Resources Integrated with Technology and Science (MERITS), and many more. The high school was established in 1903. With programs like the special abilities cluster (SAC), the students with special needs have the opportunity to gain the education that deems fits their needs and learning capability.
