Idaho State University (ISU), located in Pocatello, Idaho, is a public space-grant research university that offers more than 280 programs at its main campus and at locations in Meridian, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls. The university is a diverse conglomerate of students and faculty, with a diverse set of individuals representing 48 U.S. states and 59 countries, in its undergraduate, postgraduate and Masters and Doctorate programs. The enrollment currently totals 10,365 undergraduate students and 2,060 graduate students, supported efficiently by academic staff of 900 plus educators, establishing a student-teacher ratio of 13:1. The university’s roots can be traced back to the incorporation of the Academy of Idaho back in 1901, which is recognized as the first predecessor of the present university. Its 1000-acre campus offers exceptional academics at the heart of an outdoor-lover's paradise, with world-class skiing and snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing located a few mins from campus.
