JOB TITLE:
Imaging Informatics Associate 1
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the organization and integrity of imaging’s protected health information (PHI).
Essential Job Functions
Imports outside exams and makes available to providers.
Manages charts and consolidates electronic files as needed.
Responsible for troubleshooting missing records.
Responsible for processing loan requests, digitizing film, processing electronic images and reports for transfer.
Promoting electronic data sharing when possible.
Receive/retrieve/release images and electronic data in accordance with department policy.
Communicates with hospital personnel, patients, families, and outside agencies to ensure quality patient care.
May perform other clerical duties as needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
