As Industrial Hygienists, we are responsible for protecting employees’ health in the workplace by developing and implementing programs, policies, and procedures. We aim to measure and reduce employees’ exposure to physical, chemical, and biological stress factors. We resolve health issues by identifying risks and implementing policies to mitigate these. Conducting training and presentations to ensure employee awareness about occupational health developments is part of our daily responsibilities. We advise and collaborate with management to resolve health issues and create and execute studies to monitor and assess workers’ exposure to health risks. We assess and analyze research data and compile reports. Working as Industrial Hygienists, we propose and lead the implementation of programs to protect employee health.
