This was a very frustrating experience. It was basically a glorified boot camp that had many stops, starts, and delays. This was not a good fit for me. It was supposed to result in job placement with a major company but I felt like I wasn’t getting the training I needed because class size was between 50 - 100 employees per class. Wouldn’t recommend

Pros and Cons
Benefits were ok

After finishing my project on the client side, later they moved me to Bench and started giving me interviews for lead Positions in which I had never worked as a Lead DevOps Engineer. so that was a little unfair to me. and they had a huge Gap in between the hourly rates.

I came on board with little fanfare during the later part of the Covid Pandemic. I received my Infy laptop and then my project laptop and began work after about a week of onboarding with Infy. They are a great group to work with. The benefits and especially the availability for upskilling are top notch. They recommend upskilling all the time and make it free (other than the obvious certification costs). They also will reimburse if the client is receptive to a new certification for the project (a new software, etc). I loved working with them and it may be that I will return; but for now I am working on certifications on my own. I made a lot of friends there.

Pros and Cons
Salary and benefits are top notch!
It's more a con of the industry where you can easily work too much (lose the work life balance).

I was joined as a system engineer, this was my very first co-operative experience. It was thrilling, Infosys is one the top most world renowned organisations. I am glad that I belong to the part of Infosys. I was trained on Java, DBMS, oracle. While I was learning new languages, I recognise how world has been growing. I noticed my competitive level. Hence, I intend to pursue Masters in USA, to have a great exposure to culture and experience practical know with update version of fundamentals. Therefore I discontinued my work, However I have mention this, all of the senior from my team lead supported my situation and encouraged me. I am now successfully pursuing my masters. Thank you

It had great professional environment where I had gained ample amount of skills such as communicating a different clients, managers, colleagues and presenting your work. There were also lots of technical skills which I learned in this span on working on lots of projects.

Pros and Cons
There were flexible timing and had a nice relationship with the managers.

It was great in the beginning of my career as it was my first company. To grow professionally had to go through unprofessional leads and managers. Self training and growth was an opportunity and with the help of supportive colleagues was able to learn managerial tasks and implement the same as an On-site Team Lead.

Pros and Cons
Initial training at Mysore, India campusFriendly colleagues, beautiful office campus, on-site chance
Unprofessional political environment, no salary benefits

In my positions as consultant, I was largely on my own to build my own agenda and define day to day responsibilities. The freedom was nice to a point but when management direction and communication was needed it was not available. I was able to build a good rapport with my customers on my own but Infosys management was virtually non-existent. And communication was beyond poor.
