Inside Sales Representative (Elementary Teachers Wanted!)

Elementary learning environments are undergoing a modernizationand Lakeshore is a big part of it! Lakeshores reach into the elementary school market is skyrocketingin fact, its one of the fastest growing parts of our business. Thats why were currently searching for a self-driven, self-motivated, qualified candidate to join our growing sales team as an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative. Do you have an enthusiastic and consultative sales approach with the ability to forge relationships and treat customers like gold? Do you have an outgoing personality and a team mentality, and love to be on the phone all day? If so, wed love to hear from you! In this fast-paced and exciting sales role, you will be tasked with growing new business and achieving sales quotas/daily activity goals.
A day in the office looks like this:
Establishing relationships via outbound calling with multiple school districts, administrators and education professionals within the territory
Calling on existing accounts and introducing our product line to new customers, utilizing a consultative sales approach
Cultivating and maintaining your own customer base as well as providing support to our outside sales team
Conducting online research to gather information pertaining to school districts, funding, grants and more
Identifying sales leads and potential markets, and collaborate with various members of our sales force
Assisting team on special projects such as partnering with outside sales force and participating in national and/or state campaigns
Heres what you need:
Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, hands-on classroom (K-5th) teaching experience and/or prior experience selling in the elementary school market are all highly desirable
Background in inside sales, outside sales and/or retail is a plus
Experience with making outbound sales calls a huge plus
Background with Salesforce.com a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask successfully in a numbers-driven environment
Sense of urgency and a can-do attitude
