Description: Primarily responsible for creating and delivering training materials for end users of Visa's Business Intelligence solutions. The Consultant will help curate content and design/ develop eLearning courses, training videos, user guides, and other materials to help BI users self-serve using our platforms. Education/Experience o Bachelor degree required o 7-9+ years of experience, 5+ years of training, documentation related experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) o Expert ability to work independently and manage one s time (Required) o Prior experience in developing and delivering content for training business users, o Prior BI training, technical training, and/or database experience is highly desirable o Expert knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar o Expert knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects o Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Captivate, etc (Required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Work with the platform team and the user migration team to understand the changes being made to the current BI environment and how this will affect the users and plan a training strategy o Document and develop training materials and user guides for over a thousand BI users across Visa o Review current user guides and training materials and assess what can be leveraged for the new environment o Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes to make the content more relatable to the business users o Help structure on-demand training videos for user training Must have skills 7+ Technical/software training experience / Exceptional communication & grammar skills / Experience in webinar tools/platforms (camtasia, captivate, articulate, etc.) / Microsoft Office Exp. Contract 12 Months

TASKS

  • Observe work of teaching staff to evaluate performance and to recommend changes that could strengthen teaching skills.
  • Plan and conduct teacher training programs and conferences dealing with new classroom procedures, instructional materials and equipment, and teaching aids.
  • Interpret and enforce provisions of state education codes and rules and regulations of state education boards.
  • Conduct or participate in workshops, committees, and conferences designed to promote the intellectual, social, and physical welfare of students.

  • Customer and Personal ServiceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Personnel and Human ResourcesKnowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
