About Intake Coordinator

What does an Intake Coordinator do?

As Intake Coordinators, we are tasked with providing a warm welcome to every patient entering the healthcare facility and assist them in completing all necessary paperwork. We call our patients’ insurance providers in order to verify their exact medical insurance coverage and any benefit that they might have. We also schedule appointments for further consultations, tests, and procedures in accordance with the physicians’ directions.

Core tasks:

  • answer incoming phone calls as well as email inquiries
  • address any complaint or concern
  • ensure compliance with the facility’s regulations and policies
