About Integration Engineer

What does an Integration Engineer do?

Working as Integration Engineers, we are responsible for developing integration solutions to support data across services and technologies. We resolve customer inquiries. We analyze and test system calibrations. We prepare and manage technical guides for external business analysts and development teams to review for new functionalities and enhancements. We understand the user requirement and try to not only meet their needs but exceed them. Functioning as Integration Engineers, we work with the hardware engineering team to understand product design intent and be the driver of manufacturing systems. We also unify all automation into meaningful execution and reports.

  • proposing IT solutions
  • evaluating existing components
  • ensuring final solutions meet organizational needs.

I worked (and keep working, just in different role) with superstars in their 20s (rare breed) and "knuckledruggers" in their 40s. Most "good ones" came with experience of being on the "other side of the table", and that helps a lot. On other hand, my young friend, undergrad straight from the college, rocks the house with being open-minded, inquisitive, paying attention to details and respect to Customers, resourceful, and eager to succeed: there are winners within Gen Z! Most solid IEs are in their late 30s to nid/late 40s.
