At Intel I felt discrimination against sex all the time. Women has no value for this employer. When I applied, I did for an Engineer position shown on the news paper. On the interview day, the area manager told me "at this moment there are no an engineer position" I noticed that the piece of news paper with the add that I cut and staple on my resume sheet was jagged. A year after a man was hired for the position that I was applied.

Pros and Cons
good salary
discrimination

I had a great experience for nearly 20 years until they tossed me aside like none of my contributions mattered, even after getting a 2nd promotion very recently. Talent retention has been a serious weakness for many years and will continue to serve as their greatest failure for years to come.

Pros and Cons
Meeting and working with great people, free coffee and soda
Employee perks are a thing of the past, except the consistently diminishing bonus program.

Intel is a great company. They offer lots of outstanding benefits, employee perks like free coffee and fruit from the cafe. Hybrid work model and great opportunity for growth. Team events were my favorite due to cutbacks nothing like that has been done in the last 12 months or so.

Pros and Cons
great benefits, competitive salaries, hybrid work model
lots of layoffs and leadership direction is very questionable.

Worked mid shift. A lot less people around the campus. If your looking to get steps in for the day, you can do it here.

Pros and Cons
Free fruit and drinks in the morning along with other selections for a price.
Night shift has limited meals.

Working as a fab technician was a good learning experience and see how technology is growing . Working at Intel you get to work with different nationalities which is always exciting. Working 12 hours was sometimes challenging but easy to adjust and your days off is rewarding.

Pros and Cons
Intel sometimes have special free lunches for different departments
Getting adjusted to 12 hours night shift

Have you ever taken a job and got bored after a couple of months? Then Intel is for you. It is constantly changing with new technologies and you are challenged to learn something new almost daily. Your teammates can be a great help too as everyone designs their own way and they might have discovered some neat or better ways to do things. Intel has great health benefits with very good coverage for you and your family. They have team building events so you can relax and have some fun. They also have Sabbaticals every 7 years. I loved working at Intel, my managers were the best always ready to help with anything we needed to get the job done. Intel is the best job I ever had and I have plenty of opportunities to advance in the company.

Pros and Cons
Great Benefits, fun place to work.
I personally did not like writing my own reviews

I was in validation. Task was to find flaws in new product silicon, but when I did find issues, I had the feeling that the chip designers didn't want to hear about it. Something else was the idea that your rank (I was grade 8) in the company was a secret. Which meant that you had no idea who your peers really were, and if what you were doing measure up to your rank or not. Sure, HR had descriptions of what someone in the 8th grade was supposed to be, but it was too vague to mean anything. That you could not measure yourself against. The result was you did well or poorly depending on if your boss liked you or not. Not on how well or poorly you did the job.

Pros and Cons
Big name company
Too much political infighting, vague requirements and standards.

Was a great place to work in the 80’s and 90’s but things changed in the new millennium. More focus was put on social justice and identity politics issues. Massive layoffs culled a lot of the people with the technical knowledge that helped Intel become the world leader and achieve multiple generations of technology leadership. Sadly, poor leadership and decisions squandered that technology advantage.

Pros and Cons
Got to work with some of the smartest people on the planet as well as really cool products.
Disappointing to watch the fall of the technology leadership.
