About Intelligence Analyst

What does an Intelligence Analyst do?

As intelligence analysts, our job is to prevent significant crimes by analyzing factors such as geographic locations, surveillance, and law enforcement databases. Our job roles require us to be extremely smart and present-minded to predict future crimes and prevent them. We also possess great communication and problem-solving skills because our responsibility includes collaborating with national and international law enforcement communities. Along with all these roles, our job also expects us to be good at using general knowledge about culture, language, and history to fight or prevent future crimes.

Core tasks:

  • creating, reviewing, and presenting battlefield reports
  • updating data in the law enforcement records to make sure it's not old
  • identifying threats
  • recommending ways to prevent future crimes
