What does an Interior Design Professional do?

We - interior design professionals, are responsible for converting a fully-functional space into a functional yet beautiful area. Our job requires us to be artful and bring the project from concept to completion through the attention to detail. We must understand, visualize and convert our customer's thoughts and ideas into a brief sketch before starting the project. We also define the client’s project requirements and sign all the paperwork needed to commence the project. Along with all these roles, we also work with the clients to better understand their ideas and requirements.

Core tasks:

  • managing project finances according to the budget assigned
  • working closely and communicating with designers, architects, and building constructors
  • supervising the work of junior designers and guiding them
  • handling clients
