What does an Internal Audit Intern do?

As Internal Audit Interns, we carry out the responsibility of ensuring that the financial health of our organization is in good shape. We analyze every available financial documentation - charts, reports, or data - and with great accounting sense and good judgment, we draw up conclusions. We are also responsible for the risk and control management of the organization to minimize loss.

Core tasks:

  • carry out oversight functions on the financial aspect of the organization
  • responsible for the risk and control management which helps in the engendering of effectiveness
  • give relevant financial advice necessary for transparency, effectiveness, and good functioning
  • prepare documents and reports that reflect the Audit reports
  • identify the loopholes and make cost-saving suggestions
