The pay is good.. management take no accountability for their mistake.. the environment like high school.. most of the workers there are pessimist. It’s union base job but the union don’t have your back.. union rep will not work for you but rather keep his interests above yours even though he’s suppose to represent you at all cost.. if I could stay at my previous job then go here I should’ve..

Pros and Cons
If yiu like being micromanaged this is where you need to be

In the Russellville, AR plant, if you don’t fit into their little click that is going on in that place then your nothing to them. If you do fit in, then you’ve got it made. Some of the most stuck up people I’ve ever seen on one work place. You wouldn’t think they are working in a factory, they act as if they are classy rich people who look down on you. No matter what is going on or whether your right or not, the plant manager doesn’t listen to you unless your in that click and no one is “smarter” than he is, he believes.

Pros and Cons
Pay, vacation
No life, work all the time. Family doesn’t matter. Plant manager needs some management skills.

Worked there for 24 years. It started great under original owner, Wilton Connor PKG with benefits like full on site kitchen with cook, breakfast and lunch for all employees and on site laundry and daycare for all employees with other awesome benefits for employees. Then was bought out by wayerhauser and went down hill from there and then bought out by international paper and got even worse. Bad treatment of employees by management, poorly managed with loss of customers due to horrible customer and service quality.

Pros and Cons
Good benefits, paid time off was great
No advancement, bad management skills, horrible treatment of employees and too much favoritism

I only worked at IP for about a year. I worked on a project to bring SAP into the company. I found that management was very unfocused and obtuse. My job as Export Lead was fulfilling, but not exciting as was the project work I was used to. It was a good job at a time when I didn't have one, so whatever I say negatively needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I left after a year and took a job with a Freight Forwarder as a Traffic manager fill in for Alstom in Knoxville, TN.

Pros and Cons
The job was not too hard and actually probably would have led to a full time employment at IP.
SAP project work, while logistics related was mostly boring and not what I was used to.

I’ll start by saying benefits and pay was awesome over 8 hours was overtime. How ever the managers supervisors were not so good, constantly yelling at employees swearing, the training there is none they just put you in your position and expect you to know what your doing. Moving up was easy. Played favorites to first shift with rotating saturdays it was always second and third shift people working saturdays. I was let go cause I was in the bathroom 5 minutes before my cover guy got there, due to abandoning my station escorted me out to my car.

Working in nearly every department in this warehouse ive seen a large amount of pros and cons. A vast majority of the issues the company faces is the seperation between hourly employees and salaried employees, this causes miscomunication poor moral and tention between the two parties causing an almost war like atmosphere of self preservation and survival between inmates and jailers. However, the chance for overtime is massive if you dont mind what shift you work. As well as an exellent resume builder once you are good at your job you can transfer to and location across the globe with need for your expertice.

Pros and Cons
High starting pay, oppertunity for advancement if you are a determined employee, resume builder
Chaoticly managed, poor moral and a lack of synergy between floor employees and office workers.
