Its purpose is to recognize the economic, environmental, social benefits, and values of trees and is focused on the dissemination of results to contribute to a world with healthier trees, sustainable communities, and a green economy. It provides science-based information on the benefits of the care of trees. It serves as the global source for arboricultural information and knowledge with a cohesive, inclusive network of scientists, practitioners, tree care professionals, and students.
